How We Work

How complex products become digital experiences.

Behind every configurator is a process of learning the product, translating its logic, and building an experience that customers can understand and sales teams can use.

Every configurator begins long before the first line of code.

Behind every interactive product experience is a clear process—understanding the product, shaping the interaction, and refining every detail.

01Vision

We start with the product.

Illustrated ARKTO off-road travel trailer

ARKTO creates premium off-road trailers designed for modern overlanding. The product combines compact engineering, expandable living systems, outdoor functionality, and a strong visual identity.

Our role began by understanding not only what the trailer included, but how Arkto wanted customers to experience it.

02Discovery

Before we build anything, we learn the product.

We work with product images, CAD files, option lists, technical references, and direct conversations with the client. Our goal is to understand the product with the same level of care as the people who designed and manufacture it.

We do not treat the product as a visual shell. We learn how every component fits, moves, and interacts.

03Real-Time 3D

Every component is rebuilt for interaction.

Each component is reviewed, rebuilt, optimized, and prepared for real-time use. Geometry, materials, animation, file size, hierarchy, and loading performance all need to work together inside the configurator.

04Interface Design

The configurator should feel like part of the brand.

We study the client’s website, visual language, typography, colors, content hierarchy, and customer journey. The interface is designed to feel native to the brand rather than like a separate third-party tool.

Spacing, typography scale, and interaction feedback are tuned to match the surrounding brand experience so the configurator feels consistent from first click to final selection.

  • Brand-aligned visual system
  • Clear configuration hierarchy
  • Desktop and mobile usability
  • Sales-focused interaction design

People often think configurators are about 3D.

They aren't.

They're about product logic.

Complex products contain dependencies, conflicts, required selections, conditional visibility, and compatibility rules. CELA translates those relationships into an accurate, maintainable configuration system.

3D is what the customer sees. Product logic is what makes the configurator accurate and useful.

We aim to understand the product well enough that every valid configuration feels obvious—and every invalid combination is prevented.

06Continuous Collaboration

We never stop after launch.

Products, pricing, options, campaigns, and customer expectations continue to evolve. We stay involved so the configurator remains accurate, current, and aligned with the way the client sells.

  • Product updates
  • Rule and pricing changes
  • Campaign visuals
  • Trade-show preparation

We join industry events like Overland Expo alongside our clients, staying closely connected to the RV and outdoor community. By seeing how products are used in the real world, we build configurators that solve practical challenges—not just technical ones.

Overland Expo — photos rotate every 5 seconds; click, swipe, or use arrow keys to explore.

Example: When the rooftop fabric material got upgrade from the supplier, we can help clients to update on the rooftop extension part easily even after launch. They never need to retake photos or rebuild the whole matterport again.

07Environment and Atmosphere

The same product can tell a different story after sunset.

The day-and-night transition helps customers understand how lighting, materials, and outdoor features behave in real use—not only in a studio environment. The comparison control makes that change visible as the scene moves from daylight into night.

08

08Product Storytelling

Every inch is engineered with purpose. Make it visible.

Every cabinet, storage compartment, seating layout, and utility system exists for a reason. Interactive storytelling helps customers understand the engineering decisions, spatial trade-offs, and everyday usability behind every feature—building confidence before they buy.

More Project Stories

Every product introduces a new challenge.

Across industries, each collaboration allows us to refine a different part of the experience—from materials and lighting to interaction, animation, and large-scale configuration systems.

Airdrone · Visualization and Lighting

Lighting changes how a product is understood.

Multi-angle product visualization can become part of the surrounding website story. Controlled viewpoints and environment-aware lighting help communicate technical functions that a single daytime product image cannot fully explain.

  • Autonomous Technology
  • Multi-angle 3D Visualization
  • Lighting and environmental storytelling

Kimbo Campers · Materials and Environment

Materials define product personality.

Kimbo’s camper has a distinctive aerospace-inspired appearance. Its silver exterior, industrial structure, reflective striping, and changing highlights are essential parts of the product identity. Material behavior and environment are refined together so the product keeps its visual character in real time.

Andrameda · Advanced Color Customization

Sometimes customers need more than preset options.

In the jewelry configurator, customers can choose from predefined gemstone colors while also using a custom color selector for more personal combinations. Immediate visual feedback keeps a detailed choice feeling simple.

  • Preset and free color selection
  • Real-time feedback
"Annotation Experience - AirNest Project"

AirNest · Interactive Annotations

Products should be able to explain themselves.

Interactive annotation points can help customers explore features, trigger different product states, and understand how a design works without leaving the 3D experience.

  • Clickable annotations
  • Product states
  • Feature explanations

Weatherhaven · Animated Material Behavior

Some materials need to move, fold, and respond.

Soft materials such as fabric cannot always be represented as static geometry. Authored material behavior, folding sequences, and movement can communicate how specialized shelter and equipment products deploy and function.

  • Fabric deployment
  • Folding animation
  • Flexible material behavior

Complexity at Scale · Adventure Wagon

Built for complexity.

Adventure Wagon demonstrates the difference between a simple 3D viewer and a full product configuration system. The experience is being designed to manage large numbers of options, accessories, dependencies, and visual updates while running inside the client website.

Built for Complex Products

We do more than rotate and zoom.

CELA combines product understanding, real-time 3D, interface design, configuration logic, specialized materials, animation, and ongoing collaboration to create digital experiences for products that are difficult to explain—and even harder to configure.

Every project teaches us another product.

Every product teaches us another industry.

Every challenge expands what our platform can do.

Your product could be the next story.
